Restaurant-sharp knives in about two minutes. No skill, no guesswork.

  • Sharp in about 2 minutes. The angle block sets the angle. You just roll.
  • The angle is built in. A fixed 20° edge, the classic angle for Western chef's knives.
  • Two grits, one roller. 400 grit resets a dull edge. 1000 grit hones it smooth.
  • No V-slot scraping your blade. Pull-through sharpeners drag steel across the edge. This one grinds evenly along it.
  • A gift they will use every week. Works on straight-edged kitchen and pocket knives. Not for serrated blades or scissors.

Most knives aren't bad, just dull. Pull-through sharpeners chew the edge, and whetstones take practice nobody has time for. This kit does the hard part for you. Set your knife against the angle block and the angle is fixed. Roll the disc along the edge a dozen times on each side, first with 400 grit, then 1000. That's it. Tomatoes slice instead of squash, onions stop sliding, and your favorite knife feels new again. Compact enough for a drawer, handsome enough for the counter. The gift for anyone who cooks.

FAQ

Questions before you buy

How does it work?

Set your knife on the angle block, then roll the sharpener along the edge: 10–15 strokes per side on the 400 grit, then the same on the 1000 grit. The block holds the angle for you, so every stroke is the same. Most knives take about 2 minutes.

Which knives can I sharpen?

Most straight-edge knives: chef's knives, santoku, utility, paring and pocket knives. It isn't made for serrated blades, ceramic knives or scissors.

What do the 400 and 1000 grits do?

400 grit brings a dull edge back. 1000 grit refines and polishes it so it glides through food. For a knife that's only a little dull, the 1000 side alone is often enough.

Will it damage my good knives?

No. There are no metal slots grinding the edge like a pull-through sharpener. The knife rests still on the block while the roller moves along the edge at a fixed angle, so only a little metal comes off.

How often should I sharpen?

For most home cooks, every 1–3 months. A few strokes on the 1000 grit in between keeps the edge sharp for longer.

When will my order arrive?

Orders ship from our US warehouse and usually arrive in 3–8 business days. We ship within the US only. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.

Will it arrive before Christmas?

Order by December 13 for delivery before Christmas. It makes an easy gift for anyone who cooks: they'll actually use it every week.
